It's a Porsche Celebration

Porsche will be the featured marque when Speedfest at the Classic Motorsports Mitty returns to Road Atlanta April 21-23. And the event’s grand marshal will be a racer who is closely tied to the brand: Hurley Haywood. We'll also be holding the Porsche Experience Tour, starting at the Porsche Experience Center and ending at the Mitty. Don't miss out on this Porsche celebration.

Hurley Haywood to Serve as Grand Marshal

The 2017 Mitty will feature Porsche and it is fitting that the grand marshal be a part of Porsche's history. We're happy to announce that the great Hurley Haywood will be at the track serving as the grand marshal this year!

Want to meet him? He'll be available for chats and autograph signings at the big Classic Motorsports tent on vendor row.

Porsche to Be Featured Marque at 2017 Mitty

Mitty 2017 Dates Announced

The dates for the 2017 Classic Motorsports Mitty presented by Hagerty will be April 21-23. We love the Atlanta area this time of year with mild weather, great for spending the day outside.

This year will also mark the 40th anniversary of the Mitty. Back in 1977, a group of friends got together at Road Atlanta to compete against each other in their slightly outdated cars. 40 years of growth and enthusiasm later and the Mitty is one of the biggest vintage racing festivals on the East Coast.
